For a relaxing holiday, Le Grand Marais campsite in Verton in Pas-de-Calais offers plenty of entertainment as well as activities every day in July and August.On-site activities
Table tennis, playground, petanque area
On the campsite, you’ll find two table tennis tables, a playground for our little ones, and a huge petanque area.
Heated swimming pool
The heated outdoor swimming pool is open every day from June 15th to September 5th, in the morning from 11am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm (except in the event of very bad weather).
It’s the perfect place for moments of relaxation and calm.
Billiards, various games, table football
At the bar, you’ll find a pool table, various games and table football. Open daily from July 1st to September 1st.
During the same period, you can taste our delicious dishes to eat in or take away, as well as seasonal themed meals.
Activities around the campsite in Pas-de-Calais
Water sports
You can enjoy water sports all year round: sand yachting, kite surfing, paddle boarding, etc…
Hikes
You can take a walk (the beach is a 20-minute walk away) along the many footpaths in the dunes or forest, or cycle along the various cycle paths.
Entertainment in Verton
Various events are also on offer in Verton: 1st Troc’plantes Monday, May 8th from 3pm to 6pm / place de la Mairie. Plants, seeds, seedlings, cuttings organised by the Comité des Fêtes with the support of Verton Town Hall.
Summer market
The Summer Market takes place every Tuesday from June 27th to August 29th from 5pm to 9.30pm on the Place de la Mairie. Wood carvings, beauty products, driftwood, dairy products, cold meats…
Fishing
For fishing enthusiasts, there are several ponds in the near vicinity of the campsite: Etang du Patis, Etang des Tadornes where you will find a refreshment bar, bait and fishing tackle, Etangs de Maintenay.
Golf, horse riding, casino
In Le Touquet, you can go golfing or horse-riding, or come and see the Enduropale. And if you’re feeling lucky, go to the casino to find your fortune.v
Beach, Kites
In Berck-sur-Mer, you can admire the beautiful beach and go to the Authie Bay to admire the flora and fauna. The International Kite Festival or Beach Cross is a not-to-be-missed event for kite flyers from all over France and Europe.
